PPSH-41

The PPSH-41 is (Pistolet-Pulemyot Shpagina, or Shpagin machine pistol) a submachine gun invented Georgi Shpagin from the Soviet Union. It was first introduced in 1941 as a cheap alternative to the PPD-40. It was one of the main weapons used by the Soviets during World War 2 with more than 6 million made. It was also used extensively during the Korean war. It was also used by the Viet Cong during the 1970s and is sometimes used in the present day. It has a rate of fire of 900 rounds per minute and an effective range of 150 metres.
