The QBZ-95 (or Type 95 as it is known in MW3 and Black Ops 2) is an assault rifle manufactured by Arsenal 266, a Chinese company, for the Chinese Liberation Army, the Chinese armed forces and the Chinese police force. It uses the newly developed ammuntition type, 5.8x42mm DBP87. The QBZ consists of a number of guns that use a similar design, including a carbine variant, standard rifle and light support weapon. It was produced in 1995 and put into service in 1997 and was used in the Sri Lankan Civil War.
