Sgt. Crosby is a character in Call of Duty: Black Ops who gives Mason the radio during The Defector. The radio is used to call in helicopter reinforcements. During the mission, he asks Mason if he is from the S.O.G., which is confirmed by Mason. Crosby is amazed at this, as he is only a marine and the fact that Mason outranks him (Mason is a Captain). Crosby then jumps down and runs towards a doorway, where he dies shortly after. His skin is randomly generated. If you protect Crosby from the NVA long enough, he will stand still and a single bullet or friendly grenade can kill him easily. If you kill all the NVA after the TEXAS187 airstrike, Crosby will hide behind a wall, stay there and die.
