Bodhi is well known in brighton for skating down the streets on four wheels. But now his owner has been given a fine of £80 because of the dog's hobby, as two women say they tripped over the small Jack Russell. Council chiefs say that they had already asked the dog's owner to keep Bodhi on a lead but, after the accident, had to take action.
A spokesman said: "We know Bodhi's antics are an amusing sight and the dog and spectators appear to enjoy it. But when people start to get hurt and we receive complaints we have a legal duty to act."
The owner says that he will pay the fine, but will not stop Bodhi doing what he loves.
